Our mission at Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is to provide for the positive development and well-being of the Richmond community through the provision of parks, greenways, trails and recreational programming and facilities while working in cooperation with other service providers and partners in the community to maximize all available resources.

Find the Fun
There is so much to do this year. Luckily, we have a Recreation Guide that highlights the events you should check out! We also have free paper copies of the Recreation Guide at the Glen Miller Parks office.

Your Event in the Park
We have enclosed and open-air shelters throughout Richmond. Look though our Shelter Rentals and find the perfect place to hold your next party, family reunion, or other event!

We have many programs and services for people of all ages. Learn more about them and get registered here!

We need help pulling off so many great free programs for you and your family to enjoy! How about helping us out at one of them?
