The Whitewater Gorge Trail and the Cardinal Greenway offer safe, off-highway, paved riding. The Cardinal Greenway is the longest rail-trail in Indiana and spans 62 miles from Richmond through Muncie to Marion in East Central Indiana.

The Richmond Adventure Mountain Bikers have worked with Hayes Arboretum to create a mountain bike trail on the eastern portion of Hayes Arboretum. Enter at Hayes Arboretum Road and Woodbridge Drive.
