COVID-19 Update, Per EO 2-2020: In an effort to protect the health and safety of our community, Rose View Public Transit is suspending all bus fares from April 10-20, 2020. Additionally, the City will honor any bus passes purchased in the month of April through May 31, 2020.

Please note this is not an expansion of service, but is meant for those those needing to utilize public transportation for ESSENTIAL travel purposes. If an increase is usage is seen, additional restrictions may be taken.

The City of Richmond, Indiana Public Transit System is suspending all bus fare until April 20, 2020; and as such, those needing to utilize public transportation offered by the City of Richmond, Indiana for essential travel purposes may do so without cost until the expiration of this Order. Additionally, the City will honor any bus passes purchased in the month of April through May 31, 2020. Rose View Transit provides public transportation for all citizen's of the City of Richmond. The city buses and vans operate in the most efficient, economical and safest means possible. Rose View's “fixed routes” and Para-Transit’s “demand response” services are invaluable resources for the City's senior citizen and disabled community members to enable them to keep their independence.

Ride Rates

$1.75 Regular Fare
$1.50 Reduced Student, Senior Citizen or Disabled Fare
$43 Regular Monthly Bus Pass
$35 Reduced Student, Senior Citizen or Disabled Fare
Children under 5 years ride FREE

Riding Guidelines

1.  There is no eating, smoking, or open containers permitted on the bus.
2.  Each bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift and a bicycle rack.
3.  Passengers must remain seated when the bus is in motion.
4.  If paying the Reduced Student Fare, I.D. is required.
5.  Drivers do not carry change, so correct change is required.
6.  A passenger may catch the bus simply by waving at the driver to stop.
7. Service Animals are welcome.

Monday-Friday, 6:15am - 5:45pm
Saturday, 9:15 am - 4:45 pm      
Sunday, Closed
