While health concerns in light of the COVID-19 pandemic have led to limits on public gatherings, essential business must continue. Adjustments have been made to respect Governor Holcomb’s executive orders, while still providing community participation, as outlined in the city's announcement on March 18th. As a critical function of City government, City Common Council will continue. (Please note at this time Board of Public Works, Advisory Plan Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals will also continue as required by agenda items.) Meetings with a public comment and/or hearing component will be held via a teleconferencing webinar to ensure the health and safety of everyone while allowing for public input and engagement. Below are the guidelines for those wishing to submit public comment to any Common Council agenda items.
There are two ways to submit your comments to the Richmond City Common Council for the open public comments or for individual agenda items.
