We invite the community to come help us remove downed trees for personal use during Wood Weekend on 1/22 and 1/23 at Glen Miller Park!
Wood Weekend is on January 22nd at 8am-4pm, and January 23rd at 8am-1pm.
In order to participate, attendees are required to visit the Parks Office in Glen Miller Park to sign up for a permit, and to fill out all necessary paperwork by 1/21. There will be no registration the day of the event.
Limited permits will be available to the public on a first come first serve basis, and each permit can have up to 4 participants that must ride in the same vehicle to and from the park. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
No heavy equipment will be allowed, and remember to bring your own chainsaw!
Glen Miller Park will be closed on 1/22 & 1/23. We're requesting that all Wood Weekend participants enter and exit on Elks Road. All other entrances will be closed.
