Middlefork Cleanup
Come out and help the Richmond Parks Department clean up Middlefork Reservoir of trash and invasive species! This lovely, secluded fishing and wildlife area is one of Richmond's best kept secrets, and it just needs a little love in order to shine!
The event will take place on September 19th from 1pm to 3pm. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome. The location we will be working at is located at the corner of Middleboro Pike (US-227) & Smyrna Road, just before the overpass. Volunteers, sign in at the North End of the reservoir from 12:30-1:30 p.m. A map will be posted in the event discussion.
We will provide tools and trash bags — please bring your own gloves (if you want them). Closed-toe shoes will be required. Snacks and water will be provided!
Social distancing and other prevention measures will be in place to stop the spread of COVID-19. Masks are highly recommended, especially during check-in.
