Join us for the Middlefork Reservoir 2-day Cleanup!

Come out and help the Richmond Parks Department clean up Middlefork Reservoir of trash and invasive species! This lovely, secluded fishing and wildlife area is one of Richmond's best kept secrets, and it just needs a little love in order to shine!

The event will take place on Friday, May 21st from 10am-3pm AND Saturday, May 22nd from 9am-12pm. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome. The location we will be working at is located at the corner of Middleboro Pike (US-227) & Smyrna Road, just before the overpass.

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up online at parks.richmondindiana.gov and must sign in at the North End of the reservoir 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

We will provide tools and trash bags — please bring your own gloves (if you want them). Closed-toe shoes will be required. Snacks and water will be provided!

Social distancing and other prevention measures will be in place to stop the spread of COVID-19. Masks are highly recommended, especially during check-in.

If you have any questions or comments, contact the parks office at 765-983-PARK or parks@richmondindiana.gov.

Help spread the word and invite your friends!
