Glen Miller Cleanup
Come out and help the Richmond Parks Department clean up Glen Miller Park of trash and invasive species! Glen Miller is the largest and most popular of Richmond's parks, but it needs your help in order to remain a clean and prosperous location for recreation and fun!
The event will take place on October 17th from 1pm to 3pm. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome. We'll meet by the Glen Miller Spring behind the Bandshell and work along the creek. Volunteers, sign in at the meeting place from 12:30-1:30 p.m. A map will be posted in the event discussion.
We will provide tools and trash bags — please bring your own gloves (if you want them). Closed-toe shoes will be required. Snacks and water will be provided!
Social distancing and other prevention measures will be in place to stop the spread of COVID-19. Masks are highly recommended, especially during check-in.
