  • FSSA: Additional Assistance for families whose children receive free/reduced-cost meals at school
  • Richmond Community Schools: RCS Administration Building Closed: from Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until further notice. As a reminder, Grab-N-Go Meal Packs are available for all children 18 years old and younger from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. Just pull up or walk to any RCS school. (Charles, Crestdale, Fairview, Starr, Vaile, Westview, Dennis, Hibberd, Test, CYS-Baxter, Richmond High) If you have any questions or comments, please email RCS Meals on the Bus: Starting March 30th, M-F 8:30-9:30am. Bus drivers and aides will be providing breakfast and lunch Grab-N-Go meal packs from buses to students. A .4 mile walking zone distance will be used as a guide for all schools.   • CHILDCARE: Families who need help finding or paying for care can contact Brighter Futures Indiana staff at 1-800-299-1627 and a referral specialist can support them in their search. Every community has a Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (CCR&R) who can connect parents with local child care options and provide referrals for support. Visit online to find your local CCR&R, or you can call 1-800-299-1627. When locating childcare it is important to ensure that families are choosing licensed and regulated care for their children.
