Indianahousingnow.org is a free, state online resource for renters and property managers in Indiana. The dynamic search options allow you to find affordable, accessible and market-rate housing that will fit your needs. For additional assistance, please call 1‑877‑428‑8844 (toll free) Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Dial 7‑1‑1 for TTY. Dial 2‑1‑1 if you are in a housing crisis.

As of October 13th, IHCDA re-opened their rental assistance portal The portal will be used to accept applications for the Emergency Solutions Grant CARES Act (ESG-CV) rental assistance program and can provide eligible renters with up to 6 months in rental assistance to help cover past due and ongoing monthly rent payments. IHCDA's COVID-19 Eviction & Foreclosure Prevention Guide

Wayne Township Trustee Providing two levels of rental/mortgage/utility assistance: support that is not COVID-19 related and support that is COVID-19 related. Depending on household situation, applicants may qualify for both. Call 973-9392 or 969-2371.

Services

Centerstone, Horizon House, 47 South 15th Street, 877-467-3123. Horizon House is a drop-in center providing adults in the community a safe place to connect with necessary resources in the community.  Linkages and referrals can be made by the on-site Recovery Coach. Access to computers, phones, kitchen for preparing food, laundry and shower are on-site.
