Alyssa began her journey with the Richmond Parks Department as a student intern in January 2021, and was offered a permanent position in April 2021. As programming and events coordinator, Alyssa is responsible for planning and executing various Parks programs and events including the Fit Friday series, Family Series events, Hill's Bark Park events, the annual Egg Hunt event, and more. Alyssa assists with marketing and communication efforts, fundraising efforts, grant writing, and fills in wherever the office needs her.
