Richmond Parks and Recreation is responsible for the operation and usage of this city water reservoir area. The lake spans 177 acres, with the land acreage totaling 100. It is located on Richmond's north side, at 1750 Sylvan Nook Drive.
The Hill's Bark Park, Richmond's only dog park, is also located at Middlefork Reservoir. It is an off-leash dog park where dog owners can take their dogs to run free and socialize with others.
